Welcome to Saint David's Episcopal Church.

“The Episcopal Church Welcomes You” is a familiar phrase you’ll see on signs leading you to any Episcopal Church.

Saint David’s is no different. Come as you are, in whatever state of spirit ― you are welcome. Baptized or not, Christ-follower or not, believer or not (!), Republican, Democrat, Independent or whatever, dog lover or cat lover ― you are welcome.

Focused on growing deeper in the knowledge and love of the Divine, Saint David’s receives anyone anywhere on their spiritual journey. Like Jesus shared dinner alike with social outcasts and persons at the commanding posts of first-century culture, Saint David’s always sets an extra place at the table in the hope of welcoming new faces.

You are invited to take a seat and share your story.

WELCOME

Learning and growing are part of who we are.

You may have visited a number of church websites before landing here. "What makes Saint David's different?" you might ask yourself.  While we endeavor to live into the vows of our baptism, Saint David's willingly engages that which challenges us. Here you are invited to be comfortable being uncomfortable and to doubt your own doubts. Here we support each other's learning and therefore growing processes, and because of this, we are able to grow deeper into the heart and mind of Christ by listening with and alongside each other.

Here, we hope in a community courageous enough to disagree in love and to serve one another coffee at the same time. Here, we find strength in saying "Thank you" to God for all that we have with others because the gratitude seems so much fuller than what we experience on our own. Here, we find encouragement and inspiration to be a healer in the world where so many hurt because they are hurting so.

So, I hope you'll stay long enough on this site to learn our service times and join us. You are an important person in helping share God's reconciling dream. Write me an email or just be inspired that we are another part of the Body of Christ, teaching that hope and love are the antidote to fear, and sharing the very excellent news that we are beloved beyond measure.
